Calvors Brewery is pleased to be associated with the Crafted Classique on 22 August and will be providing the beer for the cyclists at the finishing post.
Calvors Brewery is based on a farm just outside Ipswich at Coddenham Green and brews a range of real craft lagers which contain no chemicals, additives or adjuncts. Each participant will receive a glass of Calvors 3Point8 lager (soft drinks will also be available) at the end of the event. Calvors 3Point8 is a pure, light, flavoursome, low ABV and extremely refreshing lager which we are sure will be appreciated by the riders after a hot August day of pedalling.
Alec Williamson, founder of Calvors and head brewer said “What better way to finish off a day taking in the beautiful Suffolk countryside than with a welcome glass of cold beer produced in that countryside and using locally grown ingredients”.
The event starts and finishes at Cult Cafe on the historic Ipswich waterfront. Calvors involvement with Crafted Classique came about as a major supplier to Mike & Georgie Keen of Cult Cafe whose ethos is to sell great British beers. As one of only a handful of specialist craft lager brewers in the UK and with Mike and Georgie’s commitment to offering local produce wherever possible, it made sense to have the full range of Calvors products on draught at the bar at Cult.
